M. Cihan Poçan (b. 1983) is an artist working with lens-based photography and technical imaging. His practice develops through analogue and digital photographic processes, combining direct observation with constructed and computational image systems. Educated in Photography and Video at Bahçeşehir University, with further studies in Media Studies, Poçan approaches photography as an operative apparatus, shaped by both perceptual experience and technical constraint. ​

Alongside his artistic production, Poçan is professionally active in the architecture, industrial product, lighting design industries, collaborating with renowned designers, architects, and artists. This parallel involvement informs a practice attentive to spatial logic, material conditions, and the technical frameworks through which environments are visualized. Moving between photographic capture and engineered imagery, his work examines how contemporary spaces are measured, modeled, and translated into images. He lives and works in Istanbul.
